Haven't stopped in for many moons. Here's a fun find from 3/1/2020, Burlington County, NJ. Went over a Federal Period homestead, exposed and accessible after a recent controlled burn in the Pinelands. While I have many decades of detecting under my belt -- recently topping 200 LCs (large cents) -- this is my first beer/wine cask tap. Interesting, to be sure, though Europe is crawling with them, some ornate to the max. Still, this one is fully Americanized. And the tales it could tell. ((((((( (4).webp

Very cool find. My friend found one of those at a colonial spot and threw it away. I still give him crap for that!

Party was over a long time ago. Nice find There is a field I do well in when they do the controlled burn but those weeds grow back quick 200 LC wow I've wanted one for many years my bucket is still empty. Great post

I wonder if they did keg stands back in the day... O those crazy Colonials...
 

Nice complete one. I'd date it somewhere in the first half of the 19th C.
