TDI Coils for small gold? Razorback?

Looking for a coil with the best depth and ability to pick up small gold. Right now I'm leaning toward a Razorback; unless anyone knows of something better?

The DF coils that you already own. The coil that jason recommended is a mono coil that is in a figure 8 pattern. The DF coil is an Eric Foster designed coil for detecting small gold. The mono coils do better in oz because they do better in extreme mineralization that we do not have here in this country.

I would have to disagree about the extreme mineralization, I got into some red shale that I was not able to GB around. Have you used Jasons folded 8, how do you feel it compares to the stock coil?

Bought the Razorback folded 8 and couldn't be happier with it. So happy with the folded 8 that I just ordered the 16" mono!

Are you pleased with the 16" mono? How did it handle the red shale?
