Tear Jerker

I finally got out for a walk in the creek. It looked like there was a flash flood since my last trip. Bunch of gravel had been moved and I found some new flakes and a couple of broken pieces. I got to a big gravel bar and right away saw this laying in the gravel. It’s broken, story of my 2025 adventures. It’s either a Savannah River or a Pickwick. Another base another day. I’m hoping 2026 will be better.

Good find. 90-95% broken to whole is my ratio. Then most of the wholes are not that nice either.

Same here, couldn't tell you how many times I thought "man; this would be awesome if it was complete ", especially the Florida ones.

I wanted to go further upstream but I saw some hunters and turned around.

I was shocked to find it where I did. I usually find them upstream in one section. Older stuff is washing out now
