Tesoro should be ashamed to tell you "some nob wil do that" What a load of Bull!
Old Bill,
Maybe you should call us/Tesoro before commenting on stuff you don't understand, as usual all of the 3 & ¾ pots do it to some degree, within a given tolerance which is more noticeable on some. If you don't like our equipment, that's fine....go buy another brand. You always come on here and bash certain models....and production. Contrary to your opinions, we have a lot of happy Tejon customers!
There is slight play in the GB pot if wiggled from side to side. This is normal. This is not noticeable during typical operation, only if you physically try to wiggle the knob. I actually asked this question when I first started here. It has to do with the fact that the knob turns continuously, and has 3 & 3/4 turn adjustment (where the ball bearings and shafts meet). All bearing and shaft controls have some play, whether it is noticeable or not. We use high quality parts, made in the USA whenever possible.
As always, we stand by our products and will repair them for life.
