Teknetics g2 vs Tesoro Tejon

So i am mostly hunting in mineralized soil(ms.) around houses and civil war sites.
I like the idea of a display but hear the depth on the tejon is really good.
If the depth is close i would go the g2 route as i have found 2 used for around the same price.
I dont just hunt coins or jewerly or relics i hunt everything

The G2 is a good detector from what I've heard, but when it comes to depth, I think the Tejon would beat it solidly.

The Tejon gets it's depth when you hunt in all metal mode. It's a relic machine. If you run it in disc mode it's not that impressive on depth. But the thing is awesome in all metal.
