This is a great lead if the location hasn't been developed. Read email below and see link with photo of site.
As email indicates, I may have more detail coming. Anyone from Tennessee, let me know if you are interested in learning more. I am in NY, so won't be pursuing it.
(This email from person familiar with the spot)
Although I spent many hot, summer days at Shady Nook, I am no longer sure where it was located. I have not lived in Paris for over 50 years. But as I recall, Shady Nook was on east Blythe Street. It was in a wooded area with little, if anything around it. I also seem to recall the street/road was not paved but was gravel. I don't think the pool was that far out on Blythe.
Will let you know more particulars of the location when my classmate e-mails me.

here's more info, as promised

I just drove by it last week to see. There is now a small trailer
park located there. It was on Blythe Street. The best way I can tell
you now is that it is behind what was the Motor Parts building on
E.Wood. You could get there by going between the Motor Parts, down a
gravel road and you would run into it. Also, you could get there from
Blakemore St and go down Blythe.
