I was lucky to buy a new bandido u max for 30. Like it very much but it doesn't have a external threshold adjustment. Could I put the adjustment outside on the cover . I've put a sensitivity knob on a compadre and worked fine .
It runs on 12hz witch is good for gold. What knob would I use . Thanks

12hz for gold? I don't think so. Small gold is up in the 20-60hz range.

But Bandido is great on coins and jewelry.

Bandito is a versatile analog machine, especially with those extra coils.....I don't know how small of gold you have and still hear it....soil ground phase would play tricks, too.....
Anyway, good luck and happy hunting...! :icon_thumright:
