Tesoro Compadre (sweet!!!)

I received a nice little Tesoro Compadre this morning, haven't used it in a real hunt yet but ran down and grabbed some of my wife's jewelry to test it. I am amazed how well it will hit on jewelry,especially chains and I mean just the chain with no pendant/charm etc. on it. The chains I tested were really fine/small links. Can't wait to try this baby out at a playground. I can almost smell the gold Steve.

I own a Compadre and think you will love it. It runs at a higher frequency, 12 kHz, which may explain why it hits on small gold better.

Its funny how the Compadre beats the Silver uMax's 10 kHz frequency.

You will probably never own a detector that is more fun or enjoyable.

Thanks Smudge, I have used alot of different Tesoro's over the years some of them running @ 12kHz but I don't think any of them hit on chains like the little Compadre does.

the compadre will surprise you and disc level is better than its bigger siblings
