Tesoro lobo super track ...???

Here is the deal, I have tried various Tesoro metal detectors in the past and I was never once comfortable with one. I owned a Tesoro lobo first series and didn't like it much. Now I have an opportunity to buy a lobo super track, I might like it, but for previous experience I might be forced to sell it.
So the two main questions, what am I supposed to expect "more" from the super track than the old lobo?
And most important what is a price you think it would be an "easy" sell, so I know how much to offer for it?

The Lobo Super Traq is a GOLD NUGGET machine at 17.8kHz, and is meant to be used in All Metal mode. It is an "OK" machine in the Discriminate mode, but switches to a preset ground balance when discriminating, limiting its depth and sensitivity for coin shooting. Unless you are going nuggetshooting in All Metal, stay with your AT Pro, or look into a Tesoro Outlaw. As a nuggetshooter and relic hunter, the Lobo Super Traq is a hard machine to beat. I used it for a year as a coinshooter and found a lot - but, I was frustrated by deep iron many times, and raely found anything in Discriminate mode below seven-inches.

Thanks terry that is what I needed to know, I have been offered one for $400, still need to see it, but apparently it's not a bad price to test a detector... Probably if I don't like it I could just resell it for the same price...

Yes, you could most likely resell it for that price if the coil has been protected by a coil cover and is in good shape.

I will be checking the detector tomorrow... Hopefully it will be well kept ....
