New to metal detecting. Put my first new battery in my Tesoro Mojave last week. Starting to get the feel of the little Honkie.! This was from one tot lot today. All clad and three bling rings and all of my trash.

Tot lots are a great place to start metal detecting. Got my start there years ago and found lots of clad and gold jewelry. Nice job!

Tot lots are good for learning your machine by finding out what coins register as what numbers and what different trash signals are numbered at. That tot lot having that much change might be all yours alone so think of it as a replenishing piggy bank.I have found gold bracelets and rings plus silver rings so your day will come that the rings won't just be bling bling.

You are correct it produced more than most. The good thing is it's just over one year old and I don't think it has ever been hunted. I'm check it again in 6 months or so...

Yep I have one like that and it has given me a gold chain.

Wow rich kids like to play there.

I would hit on a weekly basis.
I did this to over 15 elementary schools and did very well. In 6 months someone else would have it a few times.
