Tesoro vaquero chattery after using it for a little while

Idk if its just me, but for some reason when I first start up the vaquero and ground balance it, it's flawless... but then after a little while it starts to get chattery and tougher to distinguish targets. The ground mineralization shouldn't be changing so I don't think it's that. Just wondering if anyone has had this happen

Well the battery is practically brand new so it shouldn't be that. I mean it could of been the change in ground mineralization. I was detecting around my house when it started happening and I did notice that towards the front of my house the dirt had some gray spots in it

Try changing the battery anyway, my Cibola will do that when the battery gets low.

These things are going off when you or a neighbor has a dog fence buried near by or someone is using a ham radio. One beach I can't hardly detect because it is near a state police post and their radio affects the MD. See if it happens elsewhere.

If I am within 20 feet of my house my Outlaw sounds like I am stepping on mice. I've chalked it up to all the wireless stuff I'm running but I can't be certain.

You may be surprised how quickly the ground can change. I would trying ground balancing it (or at least checking it) a minimum of every 10 feet.
