Just something funny.

Last night I was cutting my grass and a special bolt for the self-propelled unit fell off somewhere. The mower would not run without this bolt. i was ticked to say the least. My back yard is fairly large and I was only about 1/4 of the way through. I just sat down on a bench and started trying to figure out what to do and could I somehow rig it until I could a new bolt the next day.

Then, I remembered, "I have a metal detector"! After about 15 minutes of searching I found the bolt and was able to finish cutting my grass.

So I guess you can say that the treasure we find is in the "eye of the beholder"!

Good job. You might think of putting some (locktite) on that bolt.

Good job. You might think of putting some anti seize on that bolt.

I believe you mean locktite... anti seize would for sure not help hold that sucker in there. It would guaranteed get all over everything though...that's a unavoidable situation when working with anti seize

Oops I’m sorry, I’ll re edit it.

Loctite for sure!! I have to do the same thing on two other mowers as well.

Just found it funny that I never would imagined when I bought my 800 (my first detector) that I would end up using it for something like this.

Just glad I had it!
