Thank goodness Tnet has other categories and threads. CRH'ing has been dismal.
No, Im not talking about how much silver I have been finding either..... I used to come to the CRH'ing forum several times daily, I spent 80%+ of my "TNET" time here at the CRH'ing forum. Lately, I try to come here, only to read one or two posts and before long I'm so disgusted that I'm off to "todays finds" "metal detecting" "best of" etc.... I find it extremely disheartening that so many of the "vets" have had to make the difficult decision to no longer participate in this forum. -They are the ones who made this site what it was when I found it 9 months ago. It was a fun, light hearted, positive, LEARNING expirience just to spend time reading the CRH'ing threads.... For some reason, it has gotten to the pathetic point where there are more posts about anything and everthing drama-related. The negative, fighting, bickering, unwarrented ACCUSATIONS, threats, crying, boobing, whining, booo hooloser posts far out-weigh the little bit that is left of the positive, informative, happy, light-hearted, good spirited threads here. I felt like the CRH'ing communitty was a group of "like minded" Pro-active oppurtunists-who are willing to help and support "their own"... It seems obvious that either; I was way wrong, or that many of the folks who post here have completely forgotten what this is really all about.
I have kept my mouth shut when so many times I wanted to "jump in" and defend someone here or there.... I have bit my tonge (held my fingers) so many times when I really wanted to let someone have it for running their mouth the way they were, or causing the drama they intentionally causing, etc... Instead I got to the point where I just participated somewhere else on TNET. -I find that sad, since I am so passionate about CRH'ing, and I know that there are so many others who would love the CRH forum to go back to the way it was.
I will get off my soapbox now, hopefully nobody has the need to make this into another drawn out unnecessary bicker-session.. LETS QUIT WITH THE CHILDISH DRAMA AND DO WHAT WE ARE HERE TO DO... If you want to create, cause, and surround yourself with drama, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, LIKE FACEBOOK OR MYSPACE. (if myspace still exists, jk).
Thanks, and for those positive contributors, I say "THANK YOU". For the the many "vets" who have inspired myself and countless others who have already left, all I can do is hope you come back someday.
