I've gotten my share of the cheap metal religious medallions and it's a little sad to get those corroded images of Jesus or Mary. So when I find Silver religious items I'm pretty happy.
Last December I was a bit more than HAPPY with this one. Found at Erosion Beach at about 4" deep I thought I had my first Gold Coin! But I'm happy with getting the Virgin Mary in 18K and it's a beautiful example of a religious medallion. Note the tear under Mary's eye.
