Why? You should wear it proudly and it doesn't matter how long ago it was. Thank You for your service.

I totally agree, even the people who grew Victory Gardens, worked in ship yards, (my Mom was a Rosie The Riveter) in California during WW2, they all did their part, & no matter how big or small it was important.
Thanks to all of them.

True. Like the lady who's stuff I bought at an estate sale. She passed a couple of years ago and I didn't know her but, after I got home from the sale I started researching her name because I found out she was a pilot during WWII. I didn't know women flew at that time. It turns out she was a WAF, a W.A.S.P. an one of the original 99's. Had she lived another year she would have received the Congressional Gold Medal from the Pres. for her efforts during the war even though she wasn't "active" military, because we all know they didn't allow women to fly in combat back then. After I done a little research on her I felt like she was a real American hero for the things she did during the war. Now I feel proud to own a few of her aviation momentos that she must have cherished to hold onto them for as long as she did. Her name was Teresa James, she may not have been active military but she was a hero nonetheless-

Yes Sir, Brother Bob, wear that cap proudly. I thank you for your service, too.
Have a great day.

I know what you're sayin, lonesomeBob. Wear the cap, cause you got the right. You did what all the rest of us would have done if called, and we appreciate it.

No one ever says that to a politician for his "service" as a politician.
You earned it and i thank God that so many people are still
thankful. That means there is still hope despite decades of mindless
hollywood drivel slamming vets and calling all of them psychopathic
murderers. If I were invested in the defeat of american principles like
they are I'd be planning my own necktie party. siegfried schlagrule
