Thank you, Italy!

Hello diggers! Last weekend brought to me these finds - gold plated earring, some other junk jewelry, religious finds ( my favorite theme) and the bonus - Italian gold chain (4.3 gram) that was coiled on the junk ring. Thank you, Italy - good stuff!!! Thank you guys for watching and comments in advance!!!

Always test "Italy" marked stuff. Tons of fakes out there. Looks like a good day out!

Congrats on your finds, but get that or any Italy Marked Gold tested, I have had first hand experience way too many times with it being fake. In one case I found a 87 gram chain about 3 kilometers down the beach from our house in Italy, my heart sank as soon as I saw the words Italy on it because I knew it was fake. Ruined the rest of my day.

Sadly others are right it 'may' not be your first yet.Needs testing before you declare it, tons of fakes with that mark.
