While I have heard many good things about Minelab MD'ers, the one negative I've heard from more than one person was their customer service. Whether its true or not, I don't know. It could be the corona virus chaos holding things up, but when it comes to buying a new machine, I always consider how companies service their products when there is something wrong. Good luck with your MD issues. I hope you are able to resolve them...

I've always had great service from Minelab
 

well, i'm 73 and i don't fib... I can show you the emails but of course I can't let you listen to the 2 phone conversations. Not just a brief talk but a long enough conversation to tell them all of what they wanted to know and answered any questions that they had.

I wasn't trying to say you weren't being truthful, just that this is not normally what we hear. I'm not sure what the problem is but good luck getting it resolved.
 

I have a problem with the wireless headphones button, it is partially depressed and is hard to turn the phones on and off. I E-mailed support and will let you know how the help

Give this number a call. 814-283-4270 , this is Detector Center's number. They are Minelab's repair center located in PA. They can help you out with this since it has not been resolved otherwise.

X2 I have had great luck and quick personal responses and service.
So sorry you are having trouble. I do not feel this is typical
 

I called Steve again at Minelab customer support and this time he ordered a new stand for me. I even have a tracking number and might be here by next Monday. Yay. The squeaky wheel for the oil at last.

Sent E-mail to support on my headphones. Received a reply next day with instructions and RMA code. Mailed them off Monday. Will keep you posted
