HI AND HOPE YOU ARE ALL DOING WELL !! I had two hours to make myself scarce while the wife was doing the xmas shopping..it came together for me..just one of those unexpected better hunts I guess..an old fort site..forgotten and dissapeared , I stumbled across it years ago . a place that troopers of mid 1800 camped at for short time in there excursions around the North Island of New Zealand...not having long I hunted in discriminate and dug only high numbers..
nailed some early royal engineer buttons and our own militia constabulary buttons again ..couldn't believe my luck...some old snider drops and an ole enfeild .577...great..now of to pick up the boss..lol..thanks for looking members and have a good one ..ok..regards and merry xmas, ,from the land of the long white cloud..

you are right there cru..the soldiers back then co.opted for shawls so they could move through the fern so much better...have a good one bro...

The only mistake we from down under made was we didn,t kill all the redcoats when we had the chance.

yes it showed up ok ,thanks for that..there are heaps of those lil rocks on the east coast ..south wairarapa n/z,,they call them honeycomb rocks...evidently worms caused the holes many, many years ago...so I was told !!! c/ya later
