Thanks To OBNs help in headphone mods

Thanks to OBN making this hobby more enjoyable and productive for all of us. I had purchased the end cap and connector from him earlier and added the cord with the 1/8th plug so I could run any pair of headphones I liked. When I'm not in the wet sand I really don't need the ear muffs and a lightweight pair of headphones are so much more comfortable. Then recently my Yellows developed a short near the strain relief on the end cap so I finally got around to doing the Peltor mod and they are a great improvement in both comfort and sound quality. With the IP68 connectors it would also be easy to make an extension cord for those complaining of short cords on your headphones. Thanks again OBN for sharing your time and mods with us all. Thanks Jim and the rest of the Pirates! And good to see you have her ready Jim, just spray it down once every few weeks will silicon spray and it will last forever. Funny this mod was suggested to me by a hunter in PA (Muggs) when he was picking up his machine...... He said Joe sure would be nice if I could swap headphones on my Excalibur, you should see if you can do that...that was three plus years ago, things have come along ways..
