Just happened to me recently, and got me wondering...how many of you guys have seen the reverse of a wheat or the glistening reeded edge of a silver dime in the tips jar at a restaurant/cashier and wanted to stick your grubby hands in there? LOL

I've seen wheats in the "Take a Penny" jar at convenience. Never seen any silver in tip jars.

Scored a wheat penny (mid 50's) in a tip jar that was nearly empty at a local take out type place... Showed the guy a pretty shield zincoln and said, "Trade ya!" He could not have cared less, so I fished out the wheatie and made it obvious I was dropping mine in. He was standing just across the counter. Don't think of doing it "behind their back", or when "no one is looking"... WAIT... YOU THOUGHT OF IT...! Shame...! Silver, I'd be willing to trade something above face for....
