The $5.50 thrift store table

I bought this table at a thrift store on Tuesday for $5.50
It was made by Lane on March 28, 1955 and not in that bad of condition for the age...

At least it's not made in China. Nice find. You can do a little refinishing and have a sweet piece of Amercan furniture

amazingly enough, all kinds of great furniture was made here in the good ole U. S. of A. before someone invented glueboard and sawdust crapola.

The jobs fed a lot of folks too.

That table looks like something you would see on the 'Road show on PBS,and then you would find out it's worth $50,000.
