I have been putting together a complete set of American Silver Eagles and recently thought to myself..."Hey Coin Town...you used to live in Canada...you should probably build a Canadian Silver Maple Leaf set as well..."

So last week while silver was down I started the set by buying a 1988, 2011, 2012, & 2013! Man these coins are a beautiful thing!

So that was you that kept outbidding me on eBay! LOL. I have to admit that I've been buying up any privy Maples I can get good deals on. The reverse proofs are stunning.

It was fun and a challenge collecting all of them.

Bow down??? We Canadians do not bow down to anyone and will drop the gloves if someone throws the first punch.

Same with andrew jackson... the one president who got rid of central banks, and americas debt... and warned us about the central banks... but there he is, on the most used bill in circulation, the 20$ bill.

Ahh starting to de-rail the thread, my apologies... ooo silver

Lol. I have to agree, it is an ugly coin on the obverse. I much prefer the young queen image that was last used in 1964. But I would buy them if the price is right.

:laughing7: Are you trying to imply that she's not purty?

We'll I'm not going to say she's not purty but if they could put Kate Middleton on there it would certainly jazz the coinage up.
