THE CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT

Warsaw,
Give your wife a hug for me....prayers are on their way.

All----Isn't it strange? Some of us have met previously....some of us have never met. Yet, it's like we are a family. We feel each other's pain in Life, and we search for answers to help each other through that pain. Don't know about you, but in a lot of ways, we have found the greatest treasure ever..........friendship.

Christy, Stan, Mel & WSD,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Mel,
What you said is very true. We haven't met most of you, but we allready care about you and your loved ones.
God bless each and every one of you, that is going through a difficult time or illness.
Lord willing, and the creek don't rise (my daddy used to say that), we will see you all in 17 days ;D

You people still got room for a newby like me?

Of course, looking forward to seeing you rebelt

Texas. I've been hunting twenty years and never went to a club hunt. Kinda been a loner I guess. Is there any campgrounds around Caldwell? This late in the game I will probably have to take the camper!

Rebel,

There is a RV Park right off I-35, as you exit west to go to Caldwell :)

Welcome aboard, RebelLT. As Mental Granny, River Rat, Tin Nugget all have said...this ain't gonna be an experience that you will ever forget. No Sireeee. As you can see from the length of this topic thread........the folks here are out to relax, have some fun metal detecting, and make new friendships. Not your typical hunt. There will be a varied amount of experience....some are newbies, some are experienced.........but all in all...we will be out there having fun and hoping to find something old.

Again, welcome aboard!
Oh, if you haven't read the part about A$$...spouses/significant others are welcome. Mental Granny can give you the scoop on A$$.

Where in Kansas are you from?

Nah, with any luck at all, we might have a couple new members in the Rowdy Bunch instead.

;D

Welcome Rebel,

MrsTW & I are not far ahead of you.
We have met Stoney, Evy and Burdie, but we haven't met the rest of the Rowdy Bunch yet....it should be a lot of fun, so stock up on batteries and conversation ;) :D ;D

All,

I have heard hints of musical instruments being brought and played.....any truth to this rumor? I can't play anything....but I can hum ;D

Ragenna's Dad was a musician. He played in the Phillips Oil Company band called the "Phillips Phillbillies" (I think that's right). Anyway, she loves music and she loves to dance. Just thought I would ask :)

Borninok. I reside in Pittsburg Kansas, about 4 hours east of Caldwell, in the far SE corner of the state. Thanks all for the warm welcome! I dont know yet if the wife will make it to the hunt. Hope she does to keep me in line.
