I let my hair down so often that most of it is gone. It's ok though...god only created so many perfect heads, and the rest he hid with hair. Ironically, what is there is turning gray.

Lord OH Lord I got up and didn't stink to bad so I knew I was still alive. Thank you all for the good words. I am getting to old for the flu. It took me half a day to catch up with this thread. Some of you mention the Border Queen Review. I will look into it. Tickets go fast.
We had to make a few changes on our schedule. Here it is.
CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT
SCHEDULE OCT. 5 – 7


FRIDAY:
2:00-3:00. Cattle drive arrives
5:00. Meet at the fair building. Set up your displays if you have one. Not required. Pickup your name tag and get to know each other and check out the displays. Water and coffee will be furnished. BYOB if you want too. No open containers outside the Fair building.
6:30. BBQ dinner starts.
7:00. Starts handing out prizes for various reasons. Display prizes available Saturday. Then we will have two items that will be raffled off. Will review the site, parking, and cover rules of the hunt. Time to enjoy each others company.
9:00. Close down and remove displays.

Saturday:
8:30 AM. Sign injury waiver before hunting.
9:00 AM. Hunt starts, bring your own chairs, and throw trash in barrels. Water furnished, no alcohol allowed on hunt site. A$$ have a special event organized by Evy.
10:00 AM. Stoney might have surprise for the A$$'s.
11:30. Lunch on your own. Stop hunting at 12:00 You can hang around the site but no hunting till
1:30
1:00 PM. See the talking tombstones if you like.
1:30 PM. Start hunting again till 4:00PM.
5:00 PM. We will meet at the Fair building for a possible bonfire, $5.00 for meal, and hand out claimed prizes. Then raffle off any prizes not claimed in-group A. Group B you get a free ticket and we call numbers till they are all gone.
Must shut down at 9:00.

Sunday:
9:00AM. Free to hunt till 12:00. Find those unknown artifacts. Then we must say our good byes.

Haven't seen Schloopy on here. Is he still coming? Lordy, there's a bunch we haven't heard from. Thank goodness Greg finally chimed in....we might have left him on the south 40. 8) Come on, folks...........if you're coming, chime in.....otherwise we might get the impression that you're lost out there....or worse, that you're going to sneak in, abduct Timberwolf with your black helicopters, and try to control his mind into thinking that he's going to win the big prize...LOL

Hello everyone from Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.

My employer sent me here for a three day seminar and the hotel I am staying in only has internet intermittently. When I pulled in a few minutes ago I saw the guy up on the roof holding some rabit ears and realized he was the TV signal and the internet so I figured I would say hey to everyone. Snuck out and detected for a little while tonight and found a little but nothing to impressive. Anyway it is getting closer by the minute and I cannot wait to meet everyone there and have a great time.

Yo, Hunters. Noodle back from the hospital with the a$$. Knee surgery. WSD, would you get over here and kick my a$$ so he'll stay off that leg? He found that my remedy was better than his pain pills.

Sounds like we have some new ones cropping up. That's great! Now we just have to keep in mind the sick ones. WSD, Burdie, Gypsy, who else Gads, you guys, this is not the time for the bugs! You all have my prayers. Get well! WSD, how's Mama? Hospital time is not good.

Hey,wife still in hosp and I'm up there most of day.
Now,Burdie,is there anyway you can reserve the tickets for the revue?Looks like so far 15-20 want to be there.Tell 'em you got a big group from out of town flying in for it.
On your schedule,that hour you have programed for the talking tombstones,is that a 'mandatory' event?Or can we just hang out at the site?Can people detect during that hour?Glad you're feeling better and can handle these questions.

As a NURSE I can tell you the best way to get him back on his feet it to wait on him hand and foot. Do everything for him that he asks.

When we got home at noon, it was 'chicken and dumplings?' Immediately followed by 'peanut butter ice cream?'

After 30 miles from the hospital, I was back on the road for c&d ingredients and pbic. We'd just come from the CITY where the HOSPITAL and GROCERY STORES were! but i love him... g'nite -Noodle

So let's get back to this 'Revue' thing again.Tickets? do they include lunch?How much are they?We may end up just going to Richard's Saloon(best in all of Ks).We need more info Burdie.

I will try to keep up with you guys so here it is. Tickets are $10. You pay at the door. Meal starts at 11:30 at the Opera house which seats a 100. Show starts a little after 12:00. I suggest getting in line at 11:30 to 11:45. Getting in to eat any where will be a challenge on Friday and Saturday lunch.

No the talking tombstones are not required but is very interesting. They are doing it at 1:00 just for you so let me know if any one is interested. Other wise I will have them cancel it. Please let me know ASAP.

No hunting allowed during 12:00 to 1:30. Oh Yes we will have shade!!

RR I asked earlier in this thread.Burdie said Bamba Lu's is a clothing outlet.Supposedly,a place called Richard's is full of atmosphere(what kind,he didn't say) and has great food.It's suppose to be a restaurant and saloon and is billed as being the best in all of KS

The red barn serves great food one block from hunt. Open only at noon. the ONE STOP has carry out. Chicken, Pizza you name it. Steve will give you a discount if you mention the hunt. Remember this IS Mayberry.
