Thank you all for the good words. I am getting to old for the flu. It took me half a day to catch up with this thread. Some of you mention the Border Queen Review. I will look into it. Tickets go fast.
We had to make a few changes on our schedule. Here it is.
CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT
SCHEDULE OCT. 5 – 7
FRIDAY:
2:00-3:00. Cattle drive arrives
5:00. Meet at the fair building. Set up your displays if you have one. Not required. Pickup your name tag and get to know each other and check out the displays. Water and coffee will be furnished. BYOB if you want too. No open containers outside the Fair building.
6:30. BBQ dinner starts.
7:00. Starts handing out prizes for various reasons. Display prizes available Saturday. Then we will have two items that will be raffled off. Will review the site, parking, and cover rules of the hunt. Time to enjoy each others company.
9:00. Close down and remove displays.
Saturday:
8:30 AM. Sign injury waiver before hunting.
9:00 AM. Hunt starts, bring your own chairs, and throw trash in barrels. Water furnished, no alcohol allowed on hunt site. A$$ have a special event organized by Evy.
10:00 AM. Stoney might have surprise for the A$$'s.
11:30. Lunch on your own. Stop hunting at 12:00 You can hang around the site but no hunting till
1:30
1:00 PM. See the talking tombstones if you like.
1:30 PM. Start hunting again till 4:00PM.
5:00 PM. We will meet at the Fair building for a possible bonfire, $5.00 for meal, and hand out claimed prizes. Then raffle off any prizes not claimed in-group A. Group B you get a free ticket and we call numbers till they are all gone.
Must shut down at 9:00.
Sunday:
9:00AM. Free to hunt till 12:00. Find those unknown artifacts. Then we must say our good byes.
