Gosh Ron, sounds like you have had a bad week so far. My relatives tend to want to watch over me too until I get so grumpy they can't stand me! You're just too nice a guy. All I have to worry about is becoming the bionic man. I already got a metal backbone and rubber arteries and soon I'll have plastic hips. One of my friend's dad told me that you have to be a tough SOB to get old and darn if I don't see what he meant now! I really am looking forward to making the hunt if I possibly can. Well I'm runnin' lat BM,I mean B&M.Happy days to you and I hope there are plenty more.You are a great couple.
I haven't been on but once or twice in the last couple of days.For some reason my daughter and two g'kids decided I shouldn't be alone anymore so up from Alabama they came to move in,lock stock and barrel.My oldest son drove the big rental truck up for her and the first thing he did was to run over my mail box,with all six wheels!700 mi to run over it!My garage is stuffed,no room for a car anymore and you can't walk through the house at all,the poech is full.Don't know what is going to happen,unless I just pack up and disappear.She said with them here I won't have as much stress,well,that isn't working.But anyway,Happy Anniversary to you and don't your kids know where you are!Did I mention my air cond went out today?Suppose to be here tomorrow to fix.

Awww...yer gonna have a great time with those kids! AND... no mailbox=no bills. Teach Sister how you like yer coffee and yer all set. And being from Alabama you know she's gotta be a good cook too.
We had a pretty good storm yesterday. Wish it had taken MY mailbox and left the shingles on the roof. :P

Nana - You lose your roof shingles?I'm sorry,any other damage?Got a tarp over the area?
Caron,my daughter,has been working like a dog the last 3 days.She has borrowed the drill,hammer screws,etc and I hear banging and see the g'kids carrying out portions of the house to the garage except now it is stuffed full and so is the porch.She did get rid of some of the boxes,of course the the empty's are stacking up.But eventually she'll get it the way she wants it.Today she built a closet,so she says.And she already has the deck covered in some kind of ugly plants that she says will be beautiful blooms soon.I didn't have any of that kind of stuff before.

Just a few. The roofer came and tacked down the ones that were flapping around for temporary fix. I think every roofer in Alabama has a back order of work to do, what with all this wild weather we've been having this year. :P
Just let her fix that place up nice. You're gonna love having busy in the house.

Wish someone on here lived a little closer.I will not go detect all alone and right now they have torn out all the sidewalks around the old courthouse that was the Union hdqtrs and attacked 3 times during the CW.It's 100 degrees out right now and that's too hot.I don't night hunt.Maybe I can get up extra early and take the g'kid with me?Think it would be worth a shot?It would be perfect for ME and BB and Baggins to night hunt it but they are too far away.Perhaps I'll just forget about it.Sorry to have bothered everyone.
