Evan Appology accepted. I am still not sure it was all you. I say if anyone was not happy they should of talked to me. So I am not going to worry about it period. They will weed themselves out any way. Your welcome to come back next year. We talked that Larry is head man in getting Minelab prizes so everything is cool.

I am working on CTH5 all ready.

I agree with Stan. If anyone has issues, concerns complaints then take them to Stan. Hopefully there won't be a next time but if anyone starts acting up next hunt the group of all of us will handle it right on the spot. It is sad that something like this happened and is marring a super fun event. The only reason I cared about it is I kind of like Stan and his family and it upsetting that something like this happened. If Stan says all is good all is good.

As for prizes. I am simply willing to help in any way I can. I just started asking for prizes during the planning of the second hunt and have not stopped. I don't mind if anyone has better contacts than me or can get better stuff. It will not bother me in any way if anyone can help. What bothers companies is when two or three people contac them for prizes for the same hunt. So going forward if you want to help in any way with the hunt make sure to ask Stan first. I always email him to let him know what I'm doing.

Without a doubt Darrel is one of the most amazing people I have met in a long long time. He would be telling a joke and before you could recover from that joke another one was on the way. I haven't laughed so hard in a long long time.

On top of that Darrell is a geniuniely nice person. I know he is getting a lot of "hero" worship here but I'm telling you now, I have been dealing with the public and working with people for over 23 years now. This guy is a really nice guy. Even if he tries to pretend he isn't.......

When the hunt is planned next year please try not to schedule it around a holiday weekend. Thanks to my CTH 4 trip the company has changed it's Vacation policy and no one can take off more than one day during a holiday week/weekend any more.

I have spent much of the morning reading and re-reading all the posts from the folks who attended the hunt. Although I was only able to stay around for a few hours, I have to say it looked like everyone was having a great time. I must admit I heard nothing but praise for how well the hunt was going and what a great job of setting things up was done by Stan and family. If anyone criticised, I didn't hear it and much fun is always had by lthe ribbing and teasing everyone always does. And I wasn't offended in any way by anyone. One thing that is different at Stan's hunts is that no one is trying to make a profit. Every penny goes back into the hunt or in getting ready for the next one. And the prizes are merely an incentive as there are no seeded coins or prizes other than the few tokens that are randomly placed in the hunting area. Stan's fame is his ability to put on a hunt where there may be real treasure if one is lucky enough to find it. And so far, there has always been some really fine authentic relics that are uncovered rather than such things as planted silver coins, etc. But the big prize is the people and the fellowship afforded by the comraderie and the people who so far go all out just to attend. So in the end when we all go home it is with the feeling we have been on a real treasure hunt. Thanks again to all who went all out to just have fun! Monty

Dang it...we are all ready planning next year? LOL...I just finished putting tents and stuff away this morning...
I am not sure what all happened at the hunt...but...I and the girls have never felt so blessed or welcomed as we did this hunt...I thank each of you my friends for making this a great vacation for us...But I am bring a trail cam for next years hunt so I can just capture all the moments....Love to you all

Hey...when I was cleaning my chinese coins this morning ...one is evidently a token...IT has a "R and then an F' on each side of the square hole and then 25 cent mark on the back...kind of like the word ...galle...and thats all I can see rght now....cleaned up that pile of coins and looks like we came out with 6 mercury dimes.....all in 30's and 40's
