A frisbee tied to a stick, now where have I seen that before? Oh yes, the commercial on TV where the family is on vacation and JR is going around with a frisbee on a stick and the old man says, "Our son is a genius". I saw several geniuses at the hunt! M nty

My new V3i was waiting for me when I got home this afternoon. Thank you WHITE's for replacing my detector and thank you Todd for great customer service and getting it in mail so quickly. Again this is probably not the form for this but wanted the CTH team to see whites service closely.

The York Safe & Lock Company was in business from 1883 until the label was "closed out" in the late 1950's. After the death of S. Forry Laucks, the General manager, in 1942, the company started to run into trouble. Mr. Laucks ran the company from 1890 until his death. Because of the scores of millions of dollars in Navy contract for weapons and armor, the Navy stepped in to operate parts of the company. Parts of the company became known as the Navy Ordnance Plant, which was later Blaw-Knox, which was a company the Navy had brought in to manage factories. The Diebold Safe Company acquired the York Safe & Lock Company from the Navy around 1946, and continued the label until it was closed in the late 50's. Today, Harley-Davidson Motorcycles occupy the Blaw-Knox Plant in York, PA.
One of the doors manufactured by York was used to seal the tomb containing the remains of China's sainted Sun Yat-Sen. Doors made by York have been used in the National Banks in Portugal, Spain, Mexico, Japan, London, Shanghai, Hsinking, Puerto Rico, and many South American Capitals.

Stan I wouldn't put too much faith in a company that was protecting my safe especially since they even stole the sign! Monty
