Love finding poncho grommets and rivets with cloth or leather still there. In your last photo . . . upper left center (smashed bullets) is that a head on bullet collision, or just a trick of my eye??

Thanks, there's been an unusual amount in this camp. Turns out a regiment got new hats with hat pins while in camp. A few days later a major storm blew everyone's tents over in the night and just about all their new hats blew away. I haven't found any hat pins yet but I'm not giving up come heat our high plant growth.
