Hi all,

I hunted a neighborhood yard around the corner from me today, hoping to find a few items of interest. I found The Good (a Tootsie Toy Howitzer, an earring, 5 wheat pennies and a silver dime), The Clad (51 pennies, 4 nickels, 6 dimes, 3 quarters) and The Ugly (an old set of keys, a couple of old diecast cars (one not pictured) and a really weird one-armed metal figurine :dontknow:). I also found an 8mm Mauser rifle casing and a silver quarter from from a yard I re-checked on Friday..can't believe I missed it.

Today's finds brings my coin total so far this year to 2,707 which includes 24 silvers and 160 wheats :icon_thumright:

Hey Nattie, sure is good to see you posting! I was beginning to wonder if you had melted or something! ;D

Nice finds for sure, a little bit of everything there. Love the silver & howitzer. Too bad the little figurine is missing an arm, that may soon be a collectable. That is Juggernaut from the X-Men comic & movie. I have only seen plastic figures until I saw yours. I would hold on to it, you never know.

Nice finds congrats! Like the howitzer.

Good luck,
HH.

Love the cannon!

Congrat Nat!

Did you mention the silver Quarter? I saw dime, but that '62 Washington.......!

Good Luck!

LOL Carl :D The pic with the other car was blurry and I just didn't take the time to repost it (it was a more modern one).

Hey Cindy, thanks for chiming in..finds are getting fewer around here..I have been out but basically just adding to my clad count. I'm looking for some older places to search so we'll see what I can come up with, stay tuned!

What's up Doug? Thanks for the encouragement, you always inspire me to get out there when I see what you come up with..the car is a Lesney Matchbox from 1970 and it's called Racing Mini, so I guess it's a Mini Cooper (the steering wheel is on the right side).

Thanks for all your replies,
Nat
