THE GRASS ROOTS

I had a lot of their music in the 60s..... LPs and of course 45s too.

I saw them Jun 01, 1972 on the Steel pier in Atlantic City
I never got to see them, graduated HS June of 66, was in USAF basic training November 67.

I remember them well but never got to see them.

I was "elsewhere" at the time :(

Actually, today they are a forgotten group - wonder if any of them are still walking this Earth.....

looks like 3 of the 4 are still alive .

I remember them in Birmingham Al. at the Shower of stars they put on every year. Them. Paul Revere and the Raiders, Union Gap, Even Herman’s Hermits one year. Oh yeah The Grass Roots. One of the best groups I’ve ever heard besides The Turtles at Mississippi State touring with The Spencer Davis group.

live about 22 miles from Mt Dora, didn't know he was living here till he died.

My all time favorite group! Oddly enough, after Rob Grill passed, a close friend of my stepdaughter took Rob's place and is still part of the band that still tours.
