Beautiful finds as always Cru, you and your Dad had another good hunt.

I don't see you guys finding many 'holed' coins of this vintage, you obviously do, I guess I just never noticed them before. :laughing7:

Dave
Only on this field and 2 nearby sites we do. It seems to be associated with an influx of Germanic trides that migrated to our area after the vaccum left by the Romans.

Nonetheless holed roman coins seem to be pretty rare here too. I have a few, but not clearly late roman/early medieval related.

I guess you did it again as always!!!! Congratulations on another great Day:notworthy:

Great find with Celtic silver. :notworthy: Is Celtic gold more commonly found than Celtic silver, and if so, are the silver coins more valuable to collectors owing to rarity?

Love the celtic silver I would think all celtic finds were rare lol Great job and post Keep em coming CRU

Hi , Mule coin , Turkey farms , Metal detectists and Archie's in field find are large recent British Press Leases but are unrelated to you. How is it your posts follow the same sequence? TP

PS Google picked this up I just noticed .
