The Howling

Just got back after spending 3 hours being blown about the field by an howling gale.
Found a few loom weights, an interesting button and a good cloth seal. As I'm sat typing this the rain is lashing down outside, my face feels like it's burning because of the wind.

I like the button. Windburn on the face is almost as bad as sunburn. Aloe is great for both by the way.

Loom weights/whorls same thing, I think.

The top two are probably loom weights, used to hold the threads vertical whilst weaving. A spindal Whorl is specially shaped like to bottom one in the picture to spin whilst on a long stick. These teased out & spun the raw wool into thread.
