Primary Interest:
Beach & Shallow Water Hunting
Been at it 40+ years. I stopped counting after 50,000 hours on the headphones. :occasion14:

Since 1970.... 47 years, started with a BFO. Longest session? Would have been on a NC beach..... sun-up to sun-down, or close to it. ╦╦Ç

I have only been doing this for about a year and a half and have never kept and accurate time on any of my hunts....maybe do to all the excitement of digging targets?

The most hours I hunted during a day was 10 hours, back when I started in 2014. I now mainly hunt on the weekends for about 4 to 5 hours a day.

do you know anyone thats really done a lot of hours in the hobby? how much?

i got to thinking about this after meeting somebody who said that years ago he was on the beach detecting all morning seven days a week for a couple of years .

I have beach hunted many times from daybreak to dusk, anytime I make a road trip to hunt where I'm there over night I hunt as may hours as possible.
