I spent a couple of afternoons pounding the yard at the old 1855 farmstead and found these.
The yard is very trashy but I am getting it thinned out. I dug everything above iron today and would need a wide angle lens to show all the trash. It payed off. I found the Barber yesterday and the Indians today. The 76 indian is damaged, [I did not do it.]
Found another old lamp wick holder and the live round.
I don't know if the round is old or not.
Best luck to all and thanks for looking. Merf

Merf. . . nice Indians & Barber!

That 1865 one is in really nice shape!. . . Even though that 1876 is damaged, I wouldn't leave it in the hole :D

Take care,

Great job Merf. Congrats on the old coins. Nice silver. I have a bell like that first picture, and a lantern knob like yours too. Very cool.

Dang Merf, sweet finds. Should be more there.
sweet coins.

That 1876 is in great condition except for the ding. The 1865 is a dandy too. I wasn't able to identify any civil war relics in the bunch though......sorry ;D All of those finds are the right time period, Maybe some more Civil War stuff will turn up. Great finds!

Thanks Nana----I did play hard----I took along a 5 foot shovel and used it for all the digs.
Hope I don't get a blister. ;D

Great Finds! Keep hitting it, I'm sure there's more to come.

dude you suck
save some for the working stiffs ::) :D ;D

Sweet Barber. ;D Even sweeter are the pair of IH's. Such good looking coins.....worth some decent $. Even with the slight damage on that '76 IH it's a great coin.

I can understand lower discrimination = IH's What about the Barber...was it being masked?

Bob

love that silver, the IH's look great even with the ding nice job keep swinging
