The 'opposite' side of being out of work (I'm swamped).
It seems like ever since I took 3 weeks off around x-mas, I've been absolutely swamped with work and am still trying to catch up. I've got people asking me when I'll get started on their project, to which I reply, "I've got a few others in front of yours".
"Yeah, but mine is very important and I need it done immediately",
"So are the others, and they were due last week. Really".
....But, I dare not complain, because the work I do could be very easily outsourced to contracts down the street (electronics design engineer).
I'm absolutely swamped!!!
