If I am not exploring and metal detecting, I am long range target shooting. If I am not long range target shooting, I am exploring and metal detecting. Just depends on the day. I get great satisfaction from both. I can hit a soda can at 750 yards pretty regularly, and often shoot to 1000 yards. And I can FIND a soda can at 16 inches deep with the detector, sometimes more! What are some of your “other” hobbies and interests?

I metal detect, bottle dig, target shoot with rifles and pistols, collect baseball cards, restoring a 1974 chevy c10, and a 1966 honda s90. my book is full!

Other hobbies....drawing, guitar, collecting and restoring vintage home audio equipment, shooting (big Springfield Armory fan). Like speakers and tube amplifiers.

That's one serious looking scope! I used to have a 12 power Unertl on my 243 Model 70 Win. (pre64)

They are both Leupold target scopes, 6-18x on the Savage .243 and straight 12x on the Remington .223 . A pre 64 Mod70 is my dream rifle. Someday.....!

I'm a shooter too. Here I am with my Savage 112-V .220 Swift with Redfield 3200 scope. I have a 100 yd. range behind my house. I also do stock work and just restocked my pre-64 M70 .30-06 with a piece of Turkish walnut. Polished the metal and it's ready for a reblue. Gary
