These are the first two I found on the little shell hill before the shell point.
I've also included three more worn out knives I found on the same midden but not at the little hill. The Texas coast has no workable stone for about a hundred miles either direction. They totally exhausted all flint that was traded in.
That's why we find so much in bone tools.

What sort of chipping, on both blade faces, can be seen in the area in the photos pointed to below?
