I've been looking on the internet for some good reviews on Predator Tools shovel The Piranha. I can't seem to find much on it. I called predator tools and he told me it was good for woody/rocky soil. I went ahead and ordered one. Should I have waited for the raven to be back in stock or is there really not much difference? The only real difference I can tell, is the piranha has a more v shaped tip. Can someone that has a piranha chime in with a good review? From what I hear it's the greatest thing since sliced bread, but no one gives a definitive answer on why.

I dont have one (Yet), but it is now on my Xmas list.

I've went ahead and got one. It works pretty well. Doesn't do well in the rocky areas, but other than that, its superb.

The piranha works great in soil with a lot of roots in it, when i got mine i sharpened the blade a little bit.:hello:

I've got one on the way...ordered it on Sunday and was shipped on Monday! I have a lot of fields and wooded areas around my area (I live on 10 acres most of which is wooded). Can't wait to give it a try. Mr Lescher gave me an excellent price on the tool, footpads, and a sheath.

Received the Piranha! Very solid piece of gear...unfortunately it's in the 20's and too cold for me to MD :) Included a few pics:
