Cru'dad has to get some Roman Coins for this month, so yesterday he spent 1 hour on a small game strip in Copse Field. He did manage 3 scrappies, so its not going to be our worst June for them!
Our streak of 9 outings in a row has now come to an end. I spent just less than 4 hours & Cru'dad just less than 2, gridding some very weedy areas. Tomorrow will be our last day on this field.:sadsmiley:

2 early fish-scale Crotal Bells
3 scrappies (yesterday)
An 18th C Coin Weight with P over I F, & fleur-de-lys (type I haven't got & can't ID)
Broken 14th C Buckle
Bits...

You managed to detect well into June. That's banner worth alone.
If you had more potatoes you could nearly dig year round. With the right weather the first rows will come out early to mid July here.

Nice relics pull - congrats on a great streak in the field! :occasion14:

Still a nice hunt! Hopefully you can sneak in a few more days! :icon_thumleft:

Funny how the "end of your streak" outshines my best day! As always, thanks for sharing the amazing history you recover with the rest of us!

The only reason the field is available is because they are swapping Tenants. I think the Potato's was an experiment they may not repeat. (All depends on new Tenant)
