Watched that show last night. That's BS. Finders Keepers! Can you imagine how many treasures are found that we never get to see. It has to be that way, or governments fingers are all over it.

Good video. Its true that all gold goes where wealth is created and right now that is in the East. It would cause a collapse if we had to account for all gold traded as a commodity. They trade more than what exist.

With China's reserves and Russia's also and the later preferring gold as oil payments, between the two they could consider a standard.

Very interesting video. I didn't know about Hugo Chavez's recovery of Venezuela's gold. And, did he in fact recover it? I bet the public never saw inside the trucks. Chavez did a whole lot of posturing....

As for precious metals markets, remember the 1980 crash? I'd bought 10k ounces on margin at the time. I had a bad feeling, so decided to cash out - just before the rapid climb. Called the broker and got one heck of a runaround, was even insulted by my broker - preached to me calling me "young man". I hung up and called the FBI. Got my money! And then the market collapsed. I was very fortunate, would have lost all my investment.

Gold & Silver - I want it in my hands, learned a very fortunate lesson there.
