This is a new site, just happen to stumble onto it today, good thing I did too because it produced some pretty nice items.
As you scroll down youll see why I call it Stone Henge. Both the ring and razor are gold plated. The razor is stamped (EVEREADY PAT`D 1812) the ring is a kids ring I think, it just says gold shell on the inside. The 1871 Indian head is a real beauty, full liberty on the head, a lot better shape than the 1893. found 2 wheats, a 1909 & 1913, too crusted to see if theres a VDB. The brass plate is off of a phonograph, it says VICTOR TALKING MACHINE CO.
also has a date 1904. very glad it came out w/out damage. Also found a 1924 dog tag and a spiggit to what i have no idea.
as always...enjoy the pics

Cool Relics and Coinage...Like the License Plate...The Razor is in Great Condition...Congrats on your Finds

Nice site and nice finds. Check that 1909 out real carefully. Like that old razor.

Nice finds, is that a silo foundation, or is it a small garden/sitting area? It looks like it has a walkway that leads up to it. HH M

Very nice finds. Keep up the good work. I would definitley hunt that area again.

Nice finds. I still remember my Grandmother having one of those phonographs sitting in the kitchen. Think my uncle has it now.

never thought of it being a silo, good call. ill have to take a better look when i head up there again. I think theres 2 walkways leading to it, ill check it again,
thanks

Take a closer look at that razor patent date. I think you will find that it says 1912 instead of 1812. I'm pretty sure that type of razor wasn't in use that early. I could be wrong but I also don't believe things were marked with patent dates at that time either.

Interesting site and finds! HH, Mike

fairy ring step in the center and it transports you through time....j/k but that is a site to hit real hard I bet you will find some other foundations around.

You could very well be right, A dead giveaway is that the handle screws on. I dont think they had many things that could screw on & off back in 1812, bottles had corks back then so im thinking yeah 1912. As you can see the bend is right on the 9, and being so crusted it kinda looked like an 8. my mistake.
thanks

Ever-Ready razors were made by the American Safety Razor Corp. of Brooklyn, NY.
Their first commercial use of the name Ever-Ready was in 1904, according to U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

LOL, I knew it was just a matter of time before someone commented on that. Probably a good thing it isnt considering all the NRA bumper stickers I see around here.
