Yesterday I found a republican blues button with an Ives Kendrick backmark. It really is in great shape with the shank intact. An Austrian “ein Kreuzer” (apparently all of them are dated 1816), and an 1850s clothing token that had me thinking I dug a gold eagle for a second 🤣. Here are some other finds from the past few weeks to go along with it.

No. Those half reals are not scarce at all and worth less than $20. I found all these in Bedford, Somerset, and Westmoreland counties, plus one in Washington county and two in Culpeper, VA. Plus 6 since the picture was taken.

The coins and buttons are definitely rare but that point could be 10,000 year old. You do not go back much further in the USA. Maybe 5,000 more years if super lucky.
