Man that snow melted fast! :icon_thumright: Then it rained for the weekend but cleared enough this afternoon where I could grab a few hours of mud play  So I went and revisted a old site in a bean field under some large monsterous electrical power lines where there had been two 19th century homes. Last year I pulled two LC's from the adjacent location under these power lines dated 1853 then a 1800 and across the road in another field of another long-gone homestead I pulled a 1816 Canadian token and a 1840 Canadian token. But I could not get anything but a spoon at todays site in previous hunts. I wasn't going away from this site skunked today! I small flat button, a large button back and finally a nice 1844 LC. Sweet! :icon_profileleft:

Uh let me guess... you get all those colonials I've been reading about here :icon_thumright:
Around these parts, I usually see the braids before 18th century copper.

Thanks everyone for the replies  I went back on St.paddy's day and got two more largies but my camera decided to eat the batteries and haven't replaced them yet. I dug a 1832 LC in rough shape and a pretty nice & clean 1801 with a hole! AUGH!!! It's pretty worn so I'll see if I can get a good pic of it. That'll be a new Today's Find's posting! :hello:
