That's an impressive bunch of finds, congrats!
The holes in the cent are strange looking, ever seen that pattern before?

My theory on the two holes, first time it was holed(the smaller hole above center) it was for securing it to clothing so not to be lost, second hole center, was put in to fasten to front of cabin for good luck, history states the family came to the are in 1822, large cent is a 1822….coincidence 🤷‍♂️

Wow, very cool! And makes good sense. That makes it so much more of a personal item than just a coin.

Great bunch of finds. The "LE" piece is a chunk of a lead ingot. I've found them before. The snow is melting here for the 5th time now. Hopefully can get out this weekend. Ground never froze for us this year.

Nice post, great finds- Congrats!!

You had a great day...congratulations on saving some history

Agreed, I assumed it said LEAD.

The pictures of that is hard to really tell where it is broke/cut at. The original pioneer of this site had the last name “Little” , this is cut off at the L side of the “LE” I was thinking it may have something to do with the last name “Little” as in a stamp/nameplate of some sorts?

Here is a complete ingot on ebay. This one is 13 inches long. See how the font is very similar to the piece you have. Not saying it the same brand but you get the idea.

Nice coin finds, and that is a great batch of buttons in a short amount of time. It's always nice to find those.
