One of my detecting partners who got me started in this hobby called up tonight to go out detecting my local town street,curb,and sidewalk tear up. This was our third hunt together since he got his DFX. Our previous results me: .53 in 11 coins, him:.13 in 4 targets.The second time out was myself at .83 and him near .50. Tonight we were even on coin targets at 4 a piece. I pulled out my first pre 1900 coin a 188? v-nickel and he found an Indian penny 188?. Both these coins are currently soaking. I dug nearly 40 junk targets trying to out do the DFX!! Yikes!!
