I met Tnetter Kurtstuben this morning for a bit of coin hunting. Started off chilly but warmed up into the 50s, perfect sunny weather.
Kurtstuben made me hunt on the hard side of town, as evidenced by this stop sign.

I found some modern coins, a few wheaties and a ton of modern trash. Here is a picture of my “pouch dump”.

I was thrilled to finally see this target appear. It was obviously a silver quarter, turned out to be a 1943. Bingo.

I went to the truck for my delicious home made lunch. However, Kurtstuben was there, and guilted me into splitting it with him. That’s not a toupee.

I left Kurtstuben to his own devices and headed home. I decided to hit a little spot on the way to the house. There were some modern coins and lots of wheaties. Karma paid my empty stomach back with a couple of Mercury dimes.

I eyeballed a circa 1986, Baby Kermit. Here is a picture of the 15 wheaties, 3 silvers, a key and Kermit.

Thanks for looking and good luck on your hunts!
