These rocks any good?

I know there is section for this, I posted here to hopefully get a faster response. I found these wile panning a was wanting know if they have potential. And would a metal detector help me in this situation. Also if they are gold bearing should I crush and pan? Thanks team.

Yes,crush and pan....part of sampling.

I agree that they look good and you should crush them and pan the material! They may or may not contain Gold and even if they do, the amounts are more than likely too small to be picked up by a metal detector. However, if you are getting Gold where you are working, you might want to take a metal detector along to see if there are some Gold nuggets or bigger deposits.

Thanks for the quick response. I have found quartz like this before, but this stuff is really heavy. I think it also may carry silver as well. But I'm so green to this it's hard for met to tell.
