These were found last night coin roll searching..

81 silver coins total plus 300 wheat penny's!! all turned in to bank..I got them all for face value..my best roll finds ever I started roll hunting in the early 90's then stopped....now its got me hooked again!!!

I just got my income tax check $2800.00 I think I am going to use some of it to buy some rolls, as long as I deposit it back into the bank the wife will never know....... LOL only kidding I will let her know what I am doing, she will probably want to help.

I'm going back to same bank Mon am see if theres any more loot to be had...I don't think there will be...no ones that lucky!!! I'm really scared now when ever I get that lucky...some thing breaks or what ever..and COST ME!!!! LOTS!!! I have been ready for something to go wrong ever since I got the find!!! most likely bad thing happened for that much old money to show at one time

someone ripped off someones collection in some way or another or someone after he died cashed in ole gramps "coins" to the bank not knowing what their worth for "paper" money or since you say the coin shops in your area photograph your ID when you "sell" coins--someone might not want to split the coins with the rest of the "family" knew they might check the coin shops --so they just "dumped em" for "fast cash" at the bank--no questions that way ---but since you can not do anything about it ---just enjoy your good luck --you came by them honestly---ivan

Yeah, you Absolutly HAVE to be there at the right time. A long time ago my mother had deposited 120 silver morgans that my grandfather had hoarded---the lucky sob's at the bank sure had a good day I bet

Roll hunting is fun---been doing it for 2 years now and have found I guess around 130 silver coins lol and tons of wheaties--almost have my coin charts filled out now.

Just go to the local bank and get 20 rolls quarters, 50 rolls nickels, 10 rolls dimes, 20 rolls dollars, and 50 rolls pennies--you'll find some good coins, look for 1964 and below for silver mintages

Had no idea...just asked about rolled washington dollars..

how did you know all of those coins were at the bank? did you just come in, ask 4 halves and they said they had other old coins or what? how did you find out?

I was told they had none....but we have these..I saw the box of rolled coins the teller had and said I'll buy them all...Just luck..and knowing when to act!! Some do great at this..depends where you live and how many others do it..Thats why I wonder if I should have posted this it gets many others into starting to roll search!! cutting in to my chance of ever finding another big find...oh well..good hunting!!

they were mixed with IKE DOLLARS that were minted from 1971-1978...how old are youyou don't remember getting the bigger rolled coins in the 80's?? IKE DOLLARS?? SEE PHOTO HERE..

dang i got 2 rolls of silver quarters basically the same way somebody cashed them in and i picked them up. that is 1 beautiful haul congrats and hh

I just did this my first time last week. Went to 5/3rd here in Columbus Ohio and got $500.00 in halves. Went through them and got zilch, zero, nada, nutten! I did talk to some people and they said the smaller banks in smaller towns are the best. In my bank, they had to order them and they came from Brinks...I'm guessing they were rolled that week! I MAY try this again...who knows.

What you do is go to a bank, give them say 500 bucks and they give you 500 bucks back but only in rolled coins. You search through those coins for good ones! Then when your done you turn the other coins back in. Pretty clever.
