They can't make EV's Illegal soon enough !

Unplug from their grid. That'll teach 'em
They will charge you an "unplug fee"... heh

And a fuel surcharge to check your unplugged status every month... and taxes thereof... and dont forget the unplugged maintenance fee.... unused meter fee... power pole within a mile fee... pole worker tattoo fee... feeding the homeless power worker fee.

I will buy one....... when i can power it with a common DeWalt 20V battery from my cordless drill.

Until then... they are just prototypes.

I remember the cell phone suitcases... thats where they are at now :)
I'll Buy One when a Pair of Double A's run it for a Month & Prices of Double A's don't Skyrocket to $300 a Piece.
SO in other Words Oil is King !

I See no way Electric cars have a Use !
Except as overpriced Children's sidewalk Toys

We get a surcharge fee, usage fee, rural fee.
I built a shop 9 yrs ago.
Even if I didn't use any power the bill would be $80+ a month.
So when I need power I start the generator up.
Savings from not hooking to the grid $8000+.
Oh I have wanted it a few times.
But not that bad.

I was just poking fun... really i dont know about any fees related to "unplugging" from grid.

But i am 100% sure that if there is a way to place a fee on it... they will.

I used to have one Similar ! Only it wouldn't Shut off in Park. Only in Drive (Timing) Quart of Used Oil Every 4 Miles.

Amish friend runs a sawmill.
Hydro showed up to get his ID.
He told them to disconnect the line, take the meter.
They explained it would cost $5000 to reconnect.
Johnathan said: They left with just my fire number at the gate.
They're not going to be held hostage to this world.

Oh sheesh..... i just flipped to the second sheet of the bill........

Non-used power fee....
Power company now has too much power it cant sell fee....
Power backup in line that used to attach to your home fee...
Oh and finally.......
Unidentified flying saucer protection fee....

Wait.... fine print at bottom of bill.....

"anyone who disconnects from our grid is subject to a double fee of all fee's."

In some ways, those guys have it figured out. In a lot of ways actually.
They must just shake their heads at this world.
