you've heard 'tiny fingers tiny tasks'? oh well, me neither.
maybe it says sterling around the edge?

To small to be a monopoly piece sorry to say. I think its the real deal or maybe a collectable piece. :dontknow:

i saw on antique roadshow the other night where real young kids (under 10 i think) were making these samplers. actually ones with houses, figures. very complex for a child or even an adult. it would make since there would be a need for a child size fit thimble.

i read a child size was 5/8" diameter at base.

I have found one--and only one--child's thimble. It is Tiny! And yes, I think that's what this is. I've seen enough of Garabaldi's digs to know that this isn't a monopoly piece--unless a farmer was playing monopoly while driving his tractor and happened to drop the thimble game piece while plowing the fields. :P


I'll see if I can post a photo of my thimble to this thread soon.

I agree with BB...childs thimble, found quite a few in the UK :thumbsup:
